Editorial Policy

Last reviewed: October 12, 2026

TENCHOICE BEAUTY publishes independent English-language analysis for global readers researching Korean beauty products. Our purpose is to help a buyer understand what a product is, how it differs from alternatives, which routine it may fit and which limitations matter before purchase.

What each article must do

Sources and verification

We prioritize official brand and manufacturer pages, current packaging, published ingredient lists, authorized retailer specifications, regulatory or company disclosures and peer-reviewed research when it is relevant to an ingredient claim. A retailer or social post may help establish availability or market context, but it is not treated as proof of clinical performance.

Product formulas, names, sizes, packaging and claims can differ by country and can change without notice. Articles therefore identify the source or review date when practical and remind readers to check the current package in their market.

Analysis, testing and evidence

Many TENCHOICE BEAUTY articles are editorial product analyses based on published information rather than personal wear tests. We do not imply that a product was personally used, clinically tested by us or reviewed by a dermatologist unless the article explicitly states that evidence and explains the method. When direct testing is performed, the article should describe the conditions, duration and limits of that test.

Ingredient presence alone does not prove a medical or cosmetic outcome. We avoid diagnosing skin conditions, promising results or presenting cosmetic products as treatments for disease. Readers with persistent irritation, pain, swelling or other medical concerns should seek appropriate professional care.

Reviews, comparisons and rankings

Editorial conclusions consider formula design, texture, routine compatibility, climate, packaging, size, availability, value, likely user needs and reasonable alternatives. A comparison should explain the decision factors that separate the products. A ranked list must give each recommendation enough context to stand on its own.

Words such as “best,” “favorite” or “worth it” require an explained use case and supporting reasoning. Popularity is not treated as proof of quality. Popularity claims must be supported by attributable rankings, awards, distribution information or company statements and should be dated where timing matters.

Commercial independence

Advertising, sponsorship, gifted products and affiliate relationships are disclosed. Commercial partners cannot purchase a positive conclusion, remove a material limitation or secure a ranking position. The Advertising & Disclosure page explains these rules in detail.

Technology and editorial responsibility

Digital research, drafting and language tools may assist with organization and editing. They do not replace source verification. The TENCHOICE BEAUTY Editorial Team remains responsible for the published title, claims, links, recommendations and corrections.

Corrections and updates

When a material error, outdated formula or broken source is identified, we review the evidence and update the article as soon as practical. Minor style changes may be made without a correction note. Changes that alter the buying conclusion, product identity or safety context should be reflected in the article and its review date.

To request a correction, use the Contact page and include the article URL, the statement that should be reviewed and a reliable supporting source.
